I was born in London, England. I emigrated to Israel in 1966 to Kibbutz Hasolelim in Lower Galilee. In 1970, after my regular army service in the Nahal Paratroopers, I left the kibbutz and went to live in Jerusalem with my future wife where I worked as a Graphic Designer until 2011.
After Sarit, my beloved wife, died of cancer in 2014

I received an easel and some canvases from my children with orders to start painting. 
I studied under the Artist and teacher Becky Mevorach. Since then I have completed over 190 paintings.
I work in oils on canvas focusing on realism until recently when I decided to try working outside the box using pallet knives.
In 2018 I moved to beautiful Modiin and set up my studio where I paint and teach beginners oil painting in private lessons.

I also paint on commission, mainly portraits of loved ones and pets.
