I was born in London, England, and emigrated to Israel in 1966, joining Kibbutz Hasolelim. In 1970, after completing my regular army service in the Nahal Paratroopers, I left the kibbutz and moved to Jerusalem with my future wife. There, I worked as a graphic designer until 2011.

After the passing of my beloved wife Sarit in 2014, following her battle with cancer, my children gifted me an easel and some canvases—along with a gentle but firm instruction to start painting.

I began studying under artist and teacher Becky Mevorach. Since then,

I have completed more than 200 oil paintings.

I work primarily in oils on canvas, focusing on realism.

In 2018, I moved to the beautiful city of Modiin, where I established my studio. There, I continue to paint and teach private oil painting lessons for beginners.

I also accept commissions—primarily portraits of loved ones and pets.

Together with my assistant, I’ve recently embarked on a new venture: creating beautiful handmade candles in a wonderful variety of colours, designs and sizes. Each one is made with care—a thoughtful gift for any occasion.
